REGISTERED NURSE - ADULT DAY SERVICES
Full Time Monday-Friday
Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $90,000 / year

What You'll Do:
- Serves as medical liaison for IDT team, ensuring proper medical follow-up
- Participates in IDT conferences, as required.
- Assesses injuries/accidents to ensure individuals receive proper medical care.
- Implements written plan for each person. Modifies nursing plan as necessary.
- Maintains medical records for each individual.
- Participates as appropriate in planning and implementation of training of DDI personnel.
- Accompanies individuals to medical appointments if necessary.
- Ensure proper medical follow-up through on call system.
- Ensures all medications are administered and stored as necessary.
- Attends monthly Nursing Meetings.
- Completes appropriate incident reporting paperwork as required.
- Ensures compliance with OPWDD regulatory standards.
- Liaison with family members regarding medical issues.
- Preparation of monthly Medication Administration Records.
What You Need for the Role:
- N.Y. State Registered Nurse License required
- N.Y. State Driver’s License preferred
- Knowledge of OPWDD Regulations preferred
- Experience with ID/DD population preferred
