You’d be responsible for:
- Supervising the shop program
- Managing the vehicle and machine maintenance programs and purchases
- Negotiating and procuring construction materials for multiple jobs in multiple locations
- Ensuring that all materials are acquired at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
- Interviewing vendors, analyzing quotes, recommending resources and scheduling deliveries
- Obtaining delivery certifications and reviewing materials received against orders placed
- Verifying and approving invoices for orders placed
- Developing and maintaining necessary records and files
- Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic
- Customer service experience
- Must be able to provide own tools
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
