This position will report directly to a supervisor on a daily or as-needed basis. Interviews and paperwork will be conducted at the Pontiac North Branch, which manages this position. Typically, this involves a one-time visit unless additional interviews or missing paperwork require further visits.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior experience in vegetation control pesticide application, verified through previous employer references. The successful candidate will possess relevant licenses and certifications.

Minimum Requirements:
- MDARD Pesticide Applicator Licenses in Categories 6, 3A, and 3B (additional MDARD licenses are a plus).
- Applicants without these licenses listed on their resume will not be considered.
- Starting pay: $19-$24 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
- Apply chemicals via spray equipment.
- Maintain awareness of chemical safety protocols.
- Fulfill assigned tasks efficiently.
- Follow instructions accurately.
- Possesses or can obtain a QAL certification.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of plant material.
- Communicates effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.
