Spend your day outdoors, cultivating beautiful flowers. As a member of the BrightView Flower Department, you will work in a more specialized part of landscaping by helping to install and maintain seasonal color beds.
- Load flowers and mulch onto the truck
- Secure all equipment
- Maintain and correctly use personal protective equipment that is provided.
- Hand pull weeds
- Groom annual flowers, remove expired blooms and shape plants
- Remove dead plants and install replacements
- Safely operate equipment with all necessary personal protective equipment
- Pull out old flowers and prepare soil uniformly for flower installation
- Install annual plants properly considering depth, size, placement, and spacing
- Apply mulch appropriately for type of material
- Valid Driver’s License
- Some experience in landscaping helpful but not necessary
- Must be able to operate various lawn care machinery including tillers, edgers, and backpack blowers
- Must be able to operate various vehicles, with or without trailers
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.
Physical demands of this job include being able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., bend and frequently kneel throughout the day, and work outdoors in the Florida weather (sometimes hot, sometimes cold).
