Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Holidays: All Federal Holidays Off
Weekends: All Weekends Off

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of lending experience at a financial institution
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities:
As a Loan Processor at Brightview Federal Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our members' financial needs are met. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Verifying borrower information, including employment, income, and credit history
• Calculating debt-to-income ratios and other financial ratios
• Preparing loan files for underwriting and submitting them to the appropriate department
• Communicating effectively with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved in the loan process
• Coordinating loan closings and ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and signed
• Maintaining accurate records of loan applications and updating information as needed
• Following up with borrowers to obtain any missing or additional documentation
• Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Opening new memberships and assisting members with account-related inquiries
• Handling cash and check transactions with precision
• Providing exceptional member service by actively listening to members' needs and offering appropriate solutions
• Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and enhance overall member satisfaction

Skills:
To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in 10-key typing
• Knowledge of escrow and banking procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
• Familiarity with loan contracts and legal terminology

This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of loan processing procedures and be able to effectively communicate with borrowers and other stakeholders.
