Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Behavior Technician role located in Southfield, MI. The Behavior Technician will work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention plans designed to help individuals develop essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, collecting data on client progress, and maintaining open communication with supervisors and families to ensure the best outcomes. The role requires consistent collaboration within a supportive and professional environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Experience with Behavioral Intervention and supporting developmental progress
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Background in Psychology or related fields is preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in all client interactions
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in ABA is a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to commit to on-site work in Southfield, MI
