Responsibilities
The Network Control Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal network performance, with success primarily measured by system uptime. Acts as the first line of defense in identifying and addressing network issues as they arise. Proactively detects, analyzes, and resolves problems within switching and transmission systems, striving to minimize any impact on customer service. Distinguishes between primary and secondary network failures and determines the appropriate course of action. Assesses the severity of incidents to identify and coordinate necessary resources. Prepares and submits service interruption reports to relevant government agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. Qualifications
- Solid understanding of switching and transmission systems, troubleshooting protocols, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Skills in proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving moderate network problems
- Ability to assess incident severity and coordinate necessary internal or external resources for timely resolution.
