About The Program
Brightstar Lottery is excited to offer a two-year rotational internship within our Corporate Accounting Department. This immersive program is tailored for motivated, detail-oriented students eager to gain practical experience across key accounting functions. Interns will rotate through four core areas—Accounting Compliance, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Financial Reporting—while contributing to a dynamic, mission-driven organization committed to excellence and integrity.
Program Structure
Participants will complete four structured rotations, each lasting approximately six months, in the following areas:
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.

- Assist with internal controls, policy reviews, and audit support
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
- Corporate Accounting
- Support month-end close processes and journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and assist with general ledger maintenance
- Tax
- Contribute to tax filings, documentation, and research
- Assist with state and federal compliance tasks
- Financial Reporting
- Help prepare internal and external financial reports
- Support data analysis and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operations
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making
- Prepare documentation and reports for audits and internal reviews
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Ability to commit to a hybrid schedule of 15–20 hours per week for two years
- Exposure to multiple accounting disciplines
- Mentorship from experienced professionals
- Real-world experience in a regulated industry
- A strong foundation for a career in corporate finance or accounting
