We can provide our clients with caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, or RNs that provide in-home care, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping, dressing, grooming, companionship, dementia care, safety, and much more. Each client is individually assessed by a Registered Nurse to develop a personalized Plan of Care, which our employees follow to deliver top-notch care. Care needs range from simple companionship care to round-the-clock skilled nursing care, and everything in between. BrightStar Care of Tinley Park is owned by husband-and-wife nurses who do the same work that we ask our employees to do.
Role Overview:
As a Director of Nursing at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional home health care services. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive personalized and high-quality care. Working on site and in the field, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a passionate team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor nursing staff to ensure compliance with care quality standards.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patient progress.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met and follow best nursing practices.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of home health care policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Bonus If You:
- Hold a certification in nursing administration or a related field.
- Have experience implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Are bilingual, specifically in a language other than English.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of some on call time.
Location:
This position is on-site only and located in Tinley Park, Illinois.
