Responsibilities

As a caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will:

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Accompany clients to appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies.
• Help with active and passive mobility exercises as outlined in the care plan.
• Document any observed changes in the client’s condition and report them to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance(recommended), and reliable transportation.
• The ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Completed mandatory CEUs (continuing education units) – provided at no cost.
• A negative drug screen and clean background check.
• The physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, as well as lift up to 50 pounds.

While the COVID-19 vaccine is encouraged, it is not mandated.
