Caregiver/CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - 1:1 Home Care

BrightStar Care is looking for compassionate Caregivers and CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our growing team in full-time and part-time positions. At BrightStar Care, our home care team members have the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients, patients, and their families while providing essential one-on-one care.

As a Caregiver or CNA, you will provide personalized support to clients in a home-care environment, helping them remain comfortable, safe, and as independent as possible.

Job Duties:

• Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Take vital signs and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and other mobility needs.
• Prepare meals and preform light housekeeping duties around client's homes.
• Support clients with exercises, outdoor activities, and other daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and the administrative team to help ensure each patient’s Plan of Care remains current.
• Provide compassionate, dependable one-on-one support tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements:

• 1 Year or more of experience doing home care, either as a caregiver or a CNA.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross. We offer a BLS class at a reduced cost if you need your certification.
• Negative TB skin test from within the last year.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen.
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA requirements and maintain client confidentiality.
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to provide varying levels of physical assistance depending on client mobility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
