BrightStar Care of Somerset is a growing Home Care and Medical Staffing Agency in need of a Full Time Certified Home Health CHHA. We are looking for someone with flexible availability to cover open shifts. You will work a minimum of 30 hours in the field with the remaining hours working in the office if needed. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Nursing.

- Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs
- Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
- Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
- Support staff with new hire orientation and training of CHHA's
- Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience is required
- High school diploma or GED
- Smartphone
- Certified CPR
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Proof of MMR vaccine or titers
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Drivers license in good standing
- Valid Auto Insurance policy
- Available days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
