Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with gastric lavage procedures when necessary.
- Provide care for patients in inpatient settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Strong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.
- Proficient in specimen collection processing techniques.
- Experience in assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital medicine practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical examinations effectively.
- Familiarity with administering dermal fillers is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
