Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem in Brookline, MA

Schedule & Shift Details
- Long Shifts: 6 to 8-hour long shifts, primarily starting at 12:00 PM (noon) on most days.
- Shorter Visits: Targeted home visits, wellness checks, and streamlined visits focused on injections.
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality home care services to patients in Brookline, MA.
This per diem role is ideal for nurses who enjoy one-on-one patient care and flexible scheduling, offering a mix of longer shifts and shorter home visits.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide personalized, professional nursing care to patients directly in their homes.
- Perform foley catheter insertions and replacements as ordered.
- Administer scheduled and PRN injections and medications.
- Conduct shorter focused home visits and wellness checks.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess home environments, and report any changes to the care team.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation for all home visits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (home health or community nursing experience strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with foley catheter insertion and replacement.
- Proven proficiency and confidence in administering various types of injections.
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
