Caregiver Needed for Weekend Shifts (SAT & SUN 12 Hour Shifts) - Weekly Pay

Now hiring Weekend Caregivers immediately to provide one-on-one in-home care and companion care for seniors and older adults throughout the Louisville area.

Pay: $15.00–$17.00/hour | Weekly Pay | Part-Time to Full-Time  Available | Flexible Day Shifts 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM Night Weekend Shifts

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companion care and emotional support to seniors and older adults in the home setting
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily household tasks as needed
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community activities
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the care team or Director of Nursing
• Promote client independence, dignity, safety, and overall quality of life

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one (1) year of formal caregiving experience preferred in home care, senior care, assisted living, or healthcare setting
• Current CPR certification and negative TB test or chest X-ray (assistance available if needed)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow care instructions
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality

Preferred Experience

We welcome candidates with experience in:
• Caregiver or Senior Care roles
• Assisted Living or Memory Care
• Companion Care or In-Home Care
• Nursing Assistant or hands-on caregiving roles
• Mobility assistance or personal care support experience

Certification is a plus but not required. We are strongly considering candidates with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
