What You'll Do
As a CHHA, you may assist clients with:
- Personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and conversation
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Medication reminders
- Supporting clients with activities of daily living
- Providing compassionate care while following the client's plan of care
What We're Looking For
- Active New Jersey CHHA certification - REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification - REQUIRED
- Reliable transportation - REQUIRED
- Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
- Dependable and committed to providing quality care
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and professional
- Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus
Please note: Some client locations are not accessible by public transportation. Reliable transportation is required.
