BrightStar Care of East Lansing, MI, is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse for our clients the Greater Lansing area. In this role, you'll deliver specialized infusion therapy and patient education directly in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:
- Home Visits: Provide specialty and core drug infusions, including IVIG and Remicade.
- Peripheral IV Management: Perform IV placement and maintenance.
- Central Line Maintenance: Manage central lines effectively.
- Training: Educate patients on injections, line maintenance, and self-administered infusions.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure optimal patient care.
- Plan of Care: Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Must hold a current unrestricted RN license in Michigan and valid CPR.
- Experience: Prior experience in home healthcare visits is required.
- Skills: Experience with peripheral IV starts/maintenance, IV infusion therapy, injection and self-infusion training, phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients, and CVAD knowledge is essential.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable car and full coverage auto insurance.
- Background: Clean background and Urine Drug Screen.
- Compliance: Must adhere to regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and client confidentiality.
- Technology: Recommended personal lap top or tablet for in home documentation through our online portal.
