- Coordinate with the Client Care manager regarding client care and staffing needs.
- Create, maintain, and update caregiver/client schedules.
- Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, and care plans.
- Ensure all client shifts are properly staffed and documented in scheduling system.
- Communicate schedule changes, call-offs, and coverage needs to staff, caregivers and clients.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to address last-minute staffing issues.
- Verify caregiver availability, credentials, and compliance requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, families, and staff.
- Assist with after-hours scheduling needs when required.
- Direct client care when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous scheduling or staffing experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or home care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes.
- Proficiency with technology, MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), experience using scheduling software a plus.
- Caregiving experience a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, clear background check, CPR, TB, physical
- Effective multitasking, organization and time management, ability to prioritize tasks
- Dependable, self-motivated, drive for results
- Customer service focused, team player, truly cares about others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creative problem solving, resourceful, exercises good judgment
- Ability to stay calm and solve problems under time pressure
- Attention to detail
