- Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
- Provide high-level customer service by answering pharmacy phones and responding promptly to requests from colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel.
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a high productivity level and error-free work product.
- Keep pharmacy countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and organized.
- Enter, access, and verify data in the pharmacy system.
- Lables products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
**Qualifications**
We require:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
- Able to operate a computer and recognize/identify medications.
- Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, and effective oral communicator.
- Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the State Board (Certification is preferable).
