As a customer-facing Product Manager, you will use your deep product experience to partner with high-profile customers to define their product strategy, manage the collection and documentation of requirements, monitor product development, oversee customer hand-off and acceptance testing, and support post-launch monitoring. You won’t just be managing tasks; you’ll be the defining world-class editorial experiences and how content creators interact with technology. You will bridge the gap between complex backend capabilities and an intuitive, elegant user experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and on-time customer product delivery by leading and managing product development and implementation through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Lead discovery sessions with executive-level stakeholders, translating high-level business goals into actionable product specifications.
- Provide solutions and expertise as the primary resource for customers in product development and web publishing.
- Assist in the production and tracking of resource plans, project budgets, and statements of work.
- Diagnose problems, make recommendations, and organize solutions to implement.
- Lead hand-off and training sessions with customers, developing training materials as needed.
- Prioritize the roadmap based on data, customer impact, and technical effort.
- Assist in the development and delivery of proposals and pitches for new work.
- Document baselines and monitor KPIs to determine the success of customers’ end products against stated goals.
- May be required to travel depending on project assignments and/or conference attendance (no more than 20%).
Qualifications
- 3 years of customer-facing product management and professional services experience with demonstrated successful delivery of SaaS products. CMS experience is a plus.
- A strong sense of ownership in your work and unwaveringly positive attitude.
- Articulate communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, deftly context shift between assignments and a disciplined approach to prioritization.
- High-quality standards and attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of technical and user experience issues typically encountered in web-based product development.
- Uses sound business judgment to develop and manage customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $120,000-$130,000 with bonus potential.

Hybrid Expectations
- This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected to work on-site at our Reston headquarters 3 days per week.
