We're currently launching a 3-week blitz in Enterprise, Alabama and surrounding cities. We're looking for a select few motivated individuals to join us for this run — and for the right people, this is just the beginning.

Compensation & Perks:

  • Elite Earning Potential: Performance-based pay with uncapped commission – the more you sell, the more you earn — no limits. Our reps average $1,000–$5,000 per week.
  • Top Commission Rates: We offer one of the most competitive (highest) commission plans in the fiber industry. You'll earn a fixed amount on each sale, and that amount will grow based on your production. No waiting months for a paycheck to hit.
  • Bonuses & Incentives: Weekly, monthly, and daily performance bonuses are available for hitting targets — plus competitions and incentives such as: cash, gift cards, gear, trips, dinners, and more. We aim to create a competitive & exciting environment for reps to earn as much as possible, all while enjoying the experience and learning life & business skills.
  • Flexible Schedule: Design your own workweek. While evenings and weekends are when you'll reach most homeowners, you have the flexibility to manage your schedule as you see fit. We aim for our reps to be able to fully optimize selling around school and events so you can propel yourself far past your peers.
  • Paid Training & Ongoing Support: No sales experience? No problem. We provide industry-leading training to get you fully dialed into our sales strategies & products. We will actively mentor you in the field, so you will never be on your own. We combine over 20 years of D2D and sales experience, with one of our best reps grossing over 100 accounts in a single week.
  • Growth Opportunities: This blitz is the start — not the finish. Reps who perform well will have the opportunity to continue selling with us in Alabama long-term or travel the US with our blitz teams. Prove yourself, and we'll re-invest in you.

Responsibilities – What You'll Do:

  • Door-to-Door: You will knock on doors in residential neighborhoods to connect with prospective customers. As the face of Brightspeed Fiber, you'll be coached and guided through a tested sales script & process to maximize growth for yourself and our partners.
  • Present Fiber Solutions: Explain the features and benefits of switching to fiber-optic internet (e.g. much faster speeds, greater reliability, streaming/working from home, cheaper prices). Educate homeowners on why fiber is superior to their current provider, in clear, everyday terms.
  • Sales & Sign-ups: Persuade and close deals. Use your training to identify the customer's needs, handle questions or objections, and confidently recommend the best fiber package. Your goal is to sign customers up on the spot.
  • Generate Referrals: In addition to leads we provide, you'll scout for new opportunities in your neighborhoods. This could include talking to neighbors of current customers, gathering referrals, and following up on any interested prospects.
  • Meet or Exceed Targets: We'll track your results cleanly and ensure they're easy to interpret, so you can focus on consistently hitting weekly goals — not only to maximize commission, but also to crush incentives.
  • Professional Representation: Always represent Onyx and Brightspeed Fiber with integrity and professionalism. You'll be the face of the brand, ensuring customers have a positive experience from first knock to installation. This includes maintaining product knowledge and professionally guiding prospects through the sales process.

What We're Looking For…

  • Drive and Ambition: A hunger to succeed, learn, and grow. We provide a tested process & correlated training program so you have all the tools you could ever need to succeed, as well as leadership that exemplifies our values. You need to want to fully utilize those tools and resources to propel yourself.
  • People Skills: Communication and interpersonal skills are a must. You enjoy meeting new people, can strike up a conversation, and know how to build rapport and trust with customers. Being persuasive while remaining friendly and honest is key.
  • Resilience & Positivity: Rejection is part of sales — especially door-to-door — but you can't let it get you down. We need individuals who can handle a "no" with a smile and move on to the next door with enthusiasm. We call it "Goldfish Mentality." A positive attitude and self-motivation paired with our resources will propel you far past your goals.
  • Quick Learner: Ability to learn quickly about technical products and explain them in simple terms. You don't need to be a tech expert or a sales guru — but you should be able to absorb training and translate features into real-world benefits. At the end of the day it's cheaper, faster, more reliable internet. There's no reason to complicate it.
  • Physical Stamina: Willingness to work outdoors for a couple hours a day, but we offer easy-to-earn incentives like a Segway to help boost efficiency early on. We aim for all reps to earn a Segway within their first few weeks. (Think of this as getting paid to exercise and socialize, instead of being stuck behind a desk or at a restaurant!)
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends, when customers are most likely home. You can largely set your schedule, but commitment and discipline to put in the hours — especially prime time hours — is essential for success.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (you'll need to travel to assigned neighborhoods). Car groups and rides to the area can absolutely be arranged — just give us a heads up on your situation!
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Clean background and professional demeanor — you will be representing a major national brand.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or other) are a plus, but not required by any means.
  • Prior sales experience is excellent but NOT required. If you've done door-to-door sales in any industry (alarms, solar, pest control, etc.) you'll hit the ground running — but if not, we will train you from scratch. What matters most is coachability, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
