Experienced Process Engineer | FOAK Technology | Scale-Up & Commercialization
An experienced Process Engineer opportunity with an early-stage Clean Energy technology company developing a first-of-a-kind process to produce graphite from natural gas.
The technology has been proven through R&D and pilot development, and the team is now moving toward its first commercial production system.
They’re looking for an experienced Process Engineer who can operate at the intersection of R&D, process development, and project execution, helping take a new process from pilot scale through detailed engineering, commissioning, and start-up.
The role will have significant ownership across:
• Process development and scale-up
• Mass & energy balances
• PFDs and P&IDs
• Equipment sizing and specification
• Process safety and HAZOP
• Detailed engineering and vendor coordination
• Commissioning and start-up
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Process Engineer who has helped take a new process or technology from R&D/pilot scale toward commercial deployment.
You’ll likely come from a chemical/process engineering environment and be comfortable moving between technical process development and real-world project execution. Rather than only optimizing an established plant, you’ll have experience dealing with the ambiguity and engineering challenges that come with designing, scaling, and commercializing something new.
Experience in areas such as high-temperature processing, furnaces or thermal systems, gas/solids handling, carbon or graphite materials, hydrogen, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, or other complex process technologies would translate particularly well.

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
