Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including the use of specialized equipment.
- Provide porter services by transporting materials or equipment as required within the facility.
- Support custodial efforts by performing deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of residential painting or facilities maintenance can be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
