Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across multiple business lines within the BrightShore family of companies. This role will support diverse hiring needs across mortgage servicing and origination, insurance operations, fintech development and related corporate functions. As a Recruiter you will partner closely with department leaders to understand staffing requirements, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from the first point of contact through onboarding.

Duties
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for positions across multiple business lines including mortgage servicing, origination, insurance, fintech, call center, and corporate support
- Partner with hiring managers to understand department needs, develop job postings, and define ideal candidate profiles for each role
- Source qualified candidates through multiple channels including job boards, professional networking sites, employee referrals, community organizations, and career fairs
- Conduct structured phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, cultural fit, salary expectations, and availability
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with detailed notes and recommendations, ensuring a smooth handoff to interview teams
- Coordinate all aspects of the interview process including scheduling, panel coordination, and candidate communications
- Maintain requisition and candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness
- Draft, review, and post compelling job descriptions that reflect company culture and align with BrightShore’s tone, brand, and regulatory guidelines
- Provide consistent updates to hiring managers on recruiting activity, candidate pipeline status, and time-to-fill metrics
- Collaborate with HR, Compliance, and Licensing teams to ensure new hires meet all regulatory and role-specific requirements prior to onboarding
- Support multiple states and work environments (on-site, hybrid, remote) by aligning candidate selections with workforce management schedules
- Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics including source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring velocity
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring or high-priority roles to reduce time-to-hire and strengthen internal talent pools
- Maintain professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely follow-up and closure on all applications
- Support workforce planning efforts by forecasting hiring needs based on departmental growth, attrition, and expansion initiatives
- Coordinate onboarding handoff by ensuring accurate transfer of offer details, start dates, and job-level data to HR
- Participate in community engagement and brand outreach activities, including college recruiting, job fairs, and local partnership events
- Maintain awareness of employment market trends, competitor hiring strategies, and compensation benchmarks to stay competitive in talent acquisition
- Support internal mobility efforts by identifying and promoting qualified internal candidates for open positions
- Partner with Learning & Development to ensure new hires are scheduled for initial Servicing/Mortgage 101 and job-specific training programs
- Adhere to company, regulatory, and ethical standards in all recruiting and hiring practices, ensuring equal employment opportunity and compliance
- Promote and protect the BrightShore brand and its affiliated entities by delivering a consistent, high-quality, and positive candidate experience
- Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to strengthen employer branding across social platforms, job boards, and community networks
- Collaborate with AI and automation teams to develop tools that streamline candidate sourcing, screening, and communication
- Monitor recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire) and report trends to leadership, recommending data-driven improvements
- Maintain candidate engagement through CRM or pipeline nurturing strategies for future openings
- Support strategic workforce planning by providing talent insights and local market data to leadership
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and candidate experience across the full recruiting lifecycle
- Work closely with Payroll and HR systems to ensure new hires are processed accurately, with proper classification and compliance documentation
- Maintain awareness of competitor hiring trends and market wage benchmarks to advise leadership on compensation alignment
- Support the development of career pathing initiatives by identifying internal talent ready for advancement or cross-department opportunities
Education, Experience and /or Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably within mortgage, insurance, financial services, or technology industries
- Proven success managing multiple requisitions simultaneously across a variety of job levels and departments
- Experience sourcing candidates for both operational and professional roles, including licensed, technical, and leadership positions
- Familiarity with employment regulations, EEOC compliance, and fair hiring practices required
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, really, or comparable platforms
- Experience recruiting in multi-state environments and understanding of state-specific hiring requirements preferred
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting strategies and meet time-to-fill goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the BrightShore brand professionally to all candidates and external partners
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail across all recruiting activities
- Experience coordinating with HR, Payroll, or Licensing teams on background checks, start dates, and new-hire setup a plus
- Prior experience implementing or supporting recruiting automation tools, applicant marketing campaigns, or AI-driven sourcing preferred
- SHRM, AIRS, or other recruiting certification (e.g., LinkedIn Certified Recruiter) preferred but not required

Physical Requirement:
