Role Description
The Clinical Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bloomington, IL. The primary responsibilities include facilitating Nurturing Parenting Program Group, providing Child Parent Psychotherapy, conducting mental health assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans for clients. You will collaborate with case managers, social workers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, supporting family systems, and adhering to ethical standards in therapeutic practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Work and Case Management principles
- Comprehensive knowledge of Infant Mental Health and Family Systems
- Experience in Family Therapy, with the ability to address family dynamics effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse populations
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required
- Licensure or certification as a Clinical Social Worker, Counselor, or Therapist in Illinois preferred
- Previous experience in clinical or therapeutic settings, especially working with children and families
