Regional Maintenance Oversight
- Review, triage, and assign work orders through the CMMS platform, ensuring timely response based on urgency and safety.
- Monitor technician schedules, workload distribution, and daily routing to ensure efficient time management and productivity.
- Conduct routine quality checks on technician work and vendor‑completed services.
- Maintain CMMS accuracy, ensuring documentation, timelines, and updates meet accountability standards.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate building systems, safety risks, and maintenance needs.
- Ensure all locations meet company health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support emergency response needs, including alarms, system failures, and urgent repairs.
- Perform minor repairs as needed (e.g., locks, windows, fixtures, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with internal teams or external vendors to drive timely resolution.
- Support general upkeep tasks as required.
- Oversee vendor performance, ensuring timely service, quality workmanship, and adherence to scope.
- Support competitive bidding efforts, vendor qualification, and cost‑effective service delivery.
- Coordinate with HVAC, fire/life safety, landscaping, pest control, cleaning, utilities, and other contracted partners.
- Assist with CAPEX project execution, including site assessments, data collection, scheduling, and on‑site coordination.
- Support project managers with punch lists, contractor oversight, and progress tracking.
- Provide field‑level visibility into project risks, delays, and operational impacts.
Technician Supervision & Coaching
- Directly supervise maintenance technicians, providing coaching, performance feedback, and workload guidance.
- Review monthly building inspection reports and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct quarterly or semi‑annual site visits to complete full facility assessments.
- Manage purchasing needs that fall outside standard procurement channels.
- Route billing, invoicing, and payment inquiries to appropriate teams.
- Assist with reconciliation of corporate card purchases.
- Support new school openings, acquisitions, remodels, and operational realignments.
- Maintain required documentation for fleet, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Upload and manage data across platforms such as NetSuite, SharePoint, and vendor dashboards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certifications (HVAC, building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or related fields) preferred.
- CMRP certification preferred.
- Experience supervising technicians or leading maintenance operations strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms and digital workflow systems required.
- Ability to travel within assigned region to conduct inspections and support field operations.
- Ability to perform hands‑on maintenance tasks requiring physical strength, dexterity, and mobility.
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods when performing administrative duties.
- Ability to tolerate varying temperatures, outdoor conditions, and exposure to standard maintenance materials.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
