Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Lead Teacher based in Rockaway, NJ. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate educational programs, and providing a nurturing and safe learning environment. Additional responsibilities include supervising classroom activities, fostering effective communication with children, families, and team members, and conducting training for co-educators to maintain top-notch childcare standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and designing developmentally appropriate educational activities
- Strong skills in Education and Teaching, with a passion for fostering childhood development
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members
- Proficiency in Training and mentoring fellow educators to uphold high standards
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education and/or teaching preferred
- Ability to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Previous experience in a child care or early education setting is highly valued
