BrightPath Behavior is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Registered Behavior Technician to join our team.
Position Title: Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Plano, Texas 75093
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr

Overview:
This position works directly with BrightPath Behavior clients on their individualized ABA therapy programs. You will be responsible for building and maintaining rapport with clients, staying up-to-date on programming goals, and implementing appropriate changes as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct therapy, supports training activities for new RBTs/BTs, and models the professional and ethical values of BrightPath Behavior.

The Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the essential job functions of a RBT in addition to the following:
Working towards or has obtained a Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (such as; Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy or Counseling/Social Work)

Position Qualifications and Required Credentials:
The Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the essential job functions of a RBT in addition to the following:
- Be a direct contact for client families and liaison between BCBA and family/caregivers
- Create program materials for clients
- Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of direct therapy per week
- Provide in-person training for RBTs/therapists and give feedback to increase fidelity of services
- Fill-in therapy at other clinics, as needed
- Support BCBAs with treatment planning and programming

- Meet regularly with BCBA(s) and parents/caregivers
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be in process of currently accruing hours for their BCBA credentialing required
- Minimum 1 year of continuous experience as a certified Register Behavior Technician (RBT) required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- 1 years of experience working with children and teens
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field
- Must currently be enrolled in an ABA Master's program coursework
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate
- CPR certification
- Valid, current driver’s license & current car insurance on vehicle
Working towards or has obtained a Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (such as; Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy or Counseling/Social Work)
Additional Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Previous experience working with a range of children with autism, developmental disorders or typically developing children
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
- Ability to work on a team
- Willing to learn and implement new skills
