Job Title: Tooling Technician / Tooling Specialist
Location: Farmington, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive, compound, and secondary tooling.
- Ensure tooling quality and on-time project completion.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Support tool cost estimates and inventory standardization.
- Identify process improvements using Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in tooling setup, troubleshooting, and production.
- Knowledge of metal stamping, SPC, and ISO quality standards.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and SMED.
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality engineering.
