Job description:
Job Summary: seeks an experienced QC Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for launch. The successful candidate will have a creative innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
- Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
- Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
- Inspecting parts utilizing a CMM, micro-vu, height gage, calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and thread gages
- Complete Quality Assurance Inspection Reports and create certification packages
- Report nonconformances to senior management for resolution
Requirements for Quality Inspector:
- 2 years of mechanical inspector experience
- GD&T a plus
- Multi-task within the department
- Experience with Brown & Sharpe, Mitutoyo Mistar 555 CMM system is a plus
- Knowledge of AS9102 FAI’s
