The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure seamless production execution and drive continuous improvement.
As the champion for new product launches, the Manufacturing Engineer delivers production-ready tools, check fixtures, patterns, processes, and prints to ensure parts are fully capable and released ahead of production start dates.
Reporting
- Reports to the Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing methods and processes.
- Design tools, fixtures, equipment, and check fixtures.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Production teams.
- Analyze production data and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Release accurate part routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Contribute to equipment budgeting and capital planning.
- Support estimating activities through equipment and software expertise.
- Champion new product launches and ensure production readiness.
- Develop and release production-ready processes, patterns, prints, tools, and fixtures ahead of production start dates.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
