Job Title: Superintendent
Location: Lakeville, MN
Key Responsibilities
Based on the size and scope of the project, the Superintendent will collaborate with the project team and support the successful execution of construction activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to support overall project execution and coordination.
- Ensure all required permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained prior to and during construction activities.
- Coordinate and schedule jobsite activities, including subcontractor work and project timelines.
- Direct and supervise trade workers to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
- Maintain a safe work environment on the jobsite and in the office by actively participating in safety training and leading on-site Toolbox Talks.
- Implement and enforce the company’s safety program across all project activities.
- Facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings to support effective planning, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Plan, coordinate, manage, and oversee all phases of the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of construction industry experience.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Procore is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
Certifications & Requirements:
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Willingness to travel as required, potentially up to 30% of the time.
