Overview
We’re hiring a Digital Design Lab Technician to support the day-to-day flow of cases through our digital design department. This role works directly with our digital design department and helps ensure cases are completed accurately and on time.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on coordination, quality checks, and supporting digital workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing workflows and supporting digital production.
What You’ll Do
- Track and manage cases through the digital design workflow
- Coordinate with in-house and external (contract) designers to meet deadlines
- Review designs for accuracy and flag issues to the Digital Design Lead
- Ensure all case files, scans, and prescriptions are complete before design
- Assist with 3D printing, milling prep, and digital file organization
- Support smooth handoffs between design and production
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of dental lab experience (digital workflows preferred)
- Experience with CAD software (Exocad, 3Shape, or similar)
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge in custom abutments (sending for manufacture and quality control)
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple cases at once
- Comfortable working in a structured, team-driven environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working with outsourced designers
- Exposure to 3D printing or milling
- Understanding of restorative dental workflows
