$52,000-$92,000 per year (all inclusive)
Reviewing requests for paid time off (PTO), vacation, maternity leave, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and unpaid leaves of absence
Fulfilling staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverages for all shifts
Submitting payroll on a biweekly basis for all staff
Checking time clock punch records against master schedules and noting the appropriate changes
Signing time correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out
Approving contracts with temporary staffing agencies who send nurses / nursing assistants to the facility
Utilizing computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule
Qualifications for Business Office HR Manager:
Skilled Nursing Experience Required!
Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting, including, but not limited to: managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
Must have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques.
Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to multi-task.
Prior experience in health care setting- Long term Care/ Rehab preferred
