Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Director of Clinical Services (Contract Temporary) to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional mental health school based services. This pivotal role involves providing weekly supervision to 5 school based clinicians.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical supervision, mental health counseling, and working with diverse populations including youth.
This temporary contract position (1 to 2 months) offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while demonstrating leadership in a dynamic school based and community setting.
Duties
- Provide high-quality individual clinical supervision on a weekly basis to school based clinicians several elementary/high schools in the Brighton Park neighborhood.
- Organize and participate in regular meetings with all school and service provider partners.
- Assist in hiring process for new staff.
- Provide group supervision for approximately four school-based clinicians on a bi-weekly basis.
- Conduct regular file reviews for clinicians.
- Provide training to counseling staff regarding clinical and procedural issues.
- Perform other duties related to the counseling as well as the organization, as needed.
- Provide on-call coverage for clinical crises/consultations/risk and safety assessments.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or related field with at least two years of clinical AND supervisory experience.
- Illinois LCSW is required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with school age children and adolescents
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to pass a routine background check
- Ability to keep up to date with best practices for mental health care, program implementation, and government regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, a must.
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
