Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution, with an active and unrestricted Michigan dental license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Clinical proficiency in restorative dentistry, including crowns, fillings, prosthetics (dentures), and basic cosmetic procedures such as tooth whitening.
- Experience or strong interest in dental implants, extractions, bone grafting, and the use of nitrous oxide for patient comfort.
- Comfort treating patients across the lifespan, including pediatric dentistry, with a focus on compassionate, trauma-informed care.
- Familiarity with digital x-rays and modern dental technology, including electronic health records and practice management systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and chairside manner, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust with patients.
- Strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and commitment to evidence-based dentistry, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment, demonstrate reliability in a full-time on-site schedule, and contribute to a positive clinic culture.
- Prior experience in private practice or a group practice setting is preferred; completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) is a plus.
