Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning equipment, providing effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
- Lead small teams during installation or repair projects, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to air conditioning systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the HVAC industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of air conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and installation within a construction setting is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous.
