Purpose:
The Carpentry Technician will provide technical expertise in the evaluation and renovation of investment properties. This position will assist Brighton Properties with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Use creative problem-solving during property walkthroughs to identify good investment opportunities and a critical eye for spotting structural defects.
- Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project.
- Attend building inspections.
- Basic ability to read blueprints and assist in mapping out daily project tasks.
- Ability to follow local, state, and federal laws for safety and compliance.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishing)
- Knowledge of architectural blueprints
- Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $51,000 - $53,000.
