Role Description
Exciting Opportunity: Lighting Designer for Brighton Ballet Theater! Brighton Ballet Theater is thrilled to invite a talented lighting designer to join us for three performances and one rehearsal of our upcoming production! This is a fantastic paid opportunity for creative individuals eager to shine in theater.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Date: December 6 - Time: 4 PM - 6 PM - This rehearsal is a key moment for collaborating closely with our dancers, making sure that the lighting beautifully complements their artistry. together!
Performance Schedule:
1. December 12 - Performance Time: 12 PM - 1 PM - Arrival Time: 10 AM
2. December 14 - Class Concert: 2 PM - 4 PM - Arrival Time: 12 PM - Main Performance - "The Nutcracker": 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM - You'll have a wonderful opportunity to prepare thoroughly for all events, ensuring that all lighting cues are polished! Qualifications for a Lighting Designer
- Relevant Experience
Proven experience in lighting design for theater, film, television, concerts, or events.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and designs.
- Technical Skills
Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or Wysiwyg).
Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and lighting technologies.
- Creative Skills
Strong sense of aesthetics and design.
Ability to interpret scripts and concepts to create effective lighting designs.
- Problem-Solving Abilities
Excellent troubleshooting skills in high-pressure environments.

- Educational Background
