The Account Executive (AE) is a proactive and consultative phone sales role, responsible for selling Brightly software solutions to new prospective mid-market Healthcare clients in an assigned territory. You will work collaboratively with the Sales Leadership Team and cross functional team members to develop and manage an account acquisition strategy in your territory. This role includes prospecting, discovery, and closing functions. You’ll be responsible for prospecting but will also have support from a great team of SDR’s.

The Account Executive (AE) is a proactive and consultative phone sales role, responsible for selling Brightly software solutions to new prospective mid-market Healthcare clients in an assigned territory. You will work collaboratively with the Sales Leadership Team and cross functional team members to develop and manage an account acquisition strategy in your territory. This role includes prospecting, discovery, and closing functions. You’ll be responsible for prospecting but will also have support from a great team of SDR’s.
What you’ll be doing:
- Learning the Senior Living Industry and how Brightly solutions have a positive impact on the operations of Senior Living organizations.
- Applying the knowledge learned above to bring Brightly solutions to market, selling into your assigned territory, hitting (and exceeding) quota
- Prospecting for new clients (outbound cold calling and following up with SDR/Marketing leads) using tools like SalesLoft to execute email/calling cadences
- Coordinating with Sales Development, following up with leads shared and providing feedback in a timely manner.
- Presenting to prospects with a focus on delivering value and impact
- Actively participating in product demonstrations with the support of an expert team of solution consultants
- Managing the sales process - using SalesForce to manage leads, update opportunities, deliver accurate and timely forecasts
- Working with prospects through their buying process (taking them through a discovery process, demos of the solutions, negotiations and asking for the sale)
- Working with Sales Leadership to come up with new strategies to "keep things fresh’ and drive long term success
What you need to have:
- 1 Year of Sales, Account Executive or other similar experience
- Proven ability to prospect via the phone & close deals - managing pipeline through full sales cycle (from 1st call to close)
- Desire to continually grow and improve
- Strong critical thinking & problem solving
- Software - Ability to use CRM (Salesforce.com), Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Company Information Database/Wiki, team chat, & online video conferencing tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience with sales of SaaS solutions
- Knowledge of the Healthcare space
- Experience with Salesloft, Chorus and Definitive HC
- Sales specific training
