French-Speaking Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

BrightHands Homecare Services is hiring a French-speaking female DSP/Caregiver to support a 15-year-old girl with autism near Fairfield, Ohio. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, and enjoys helping others build independence.

Schedule

• Approximately 87 hours per week
• Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Consistent, long-term schedule
• Immediate start available

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Administer medications (training/certification required)
• Accompany the individual on community outings and shopping trips
• Assist with meal preparation and daily living skills
• Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive environment
• Follow behavior support strategies and established routines
• Document services accurately

About the Individual

• Non-verbal
• Diagnosed with autism
• Requires close and constant supervision
• Enjoys car rides, shopping, and community outings
• Thrives with patient, consistent caregivers

Qualifications

• Fluent in both French and English (Required)
• Female caregiver preferred by the family
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Able to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Certification are a plus
