Role Description
*June-August* This is an on-site, part-time summer position for a Behavioral Health Technician based in Phillipsburg, NJ. The Behavioral Health Technician will work directly with clients, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans. Primary responsibilities include delivering one-on-one support, collecting and recording data, and collaborating with supervisors to track client progress. The role involves fostering skill development, providing guidance, and positively influencing behavior in alignment with ABA techniques.
Qualifications
- Understanding and application of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Proficiency in Behavioral Intervention strategies and techniques
- Strong Communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Educational background or experience in Psychology
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client success
- Willingness to work in an on-site setting and adapt to dynamic environments
- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
