Part-Time / PRN Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
About Us
Brighter Days Behavioral Health, LLC is a residential behavioral health program serving girls ages 6–17 involved in the foster care system. We provide a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment focused on supporting each child’s emotional, behavioral, and social well-being.
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LISW or LPCC to join our growing clinical team. This flexible PRN position offers a small caseload and the opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support to children in residential care.
We currently serve one resident and anticipate expanding as additional placements become available.
Position Summary
The clinician will provide mental health services to youth in our residential program, including assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, clinical documentation, crisis consultation, and collaboration with the residential team and outside providers.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial mental health assessments for new residents.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy based on resident needs.
- Complete progress notes and required clinical documentation.
- Participate in treatment team meetings as needed.
- Collaborate with residential staff, case managers, caregivers, and community providers.
- Provide clinical guidance and behavioral health consultation when needed.
- Ensure documentation meets Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, Medicaid, and agency standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical clinical practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Ohio LISW or LPCC license in good standing.
- Experience providing assessments and individual therapy.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and child behavioral health.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children/adolescents.
- Experience in foster care, residential treatment, or community mental health.
- Experience with crisis intervention and behavioral support.
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling based on availability.
- Approximately 2–8 hours per week initially.
- Opportunity for additional hours as the program grows.
- Occasional clinical consultation as needed.
Compensation
$35.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience.
Compensation includes clinical services such as:
- Assessments
- Therapy sessions
- Treatment planning
- Progress notes/documentation
- Treatment team participation
- Clinical consultation
