CBRF Certified Caregiver 2nd shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly seniors and those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support. This role requires a nurturing attitude, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and their families.

Duties

• Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Assist individuals with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Foster a supportive environment that respects resident rights and promotes independence.
• Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or home care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of direct support practices for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with resident rights and advocacy principles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A background in social work or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet client needs.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
