Brighter Beginnings Childcare Center is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Floater Teacher specializing in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool education. Responsibilities
- Cover classrooms for teachers during paid time off, meetings and lunch breaks
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide a safe, caring and engaging environment for young children ages 6 weeks - 5 years old
- Support classroom management by modeling and facilitating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social-emotional development and age appropriate behavior.
- Assist with daily care routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure the well-being of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support classroom activities that promote children's development across language/literacy, STEM, physical, social-emotional and the arts domains.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to guide children’s social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's care, attendance, injury reporting and communicate effectively with families about children's experiences in the day as appropriate
Qualifications:
- EEC Teacher Certification (minimum) is required
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage families effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly across different age groups (infants through preschool) while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety.
