Caregiver/CNA (Full-Time 8AM-9PM Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to our client(s) in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia and behavioral challenges, as well as proficiency using a Hoyer Lift and other mobility assistance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

• Assist clients with mobility and transfers using a Hoyer Lift or other assistive devices safely and correctly.

• Monitor and document changes in client condition or behavior, and report concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare providers.

• Support clients with dementia and behavioral issues, utilizing patience, redirection, and de-escalation techniques.

• Prepare meals, assist with feeding as needed, and encourage fluid and food intake.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.

• Engage clients in activities that promote emotional and physical well-being.

• Follow care plans and medication reminders as directed.

• Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and other care team members.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent caregiving experience (preferred).

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with dementia and/or behavioral issue clients.

• Experience using a Hoyer Lift required.

• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work every other weekend as scheduled.

• Must pass background check and provide professional references.
