Position: Safety Manager
Location: Nationwide (Travel Required)
Bright Bulbs Electric Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced, certified Safety Manager to lead and oversee our safety program across commercial projects. This role is critical in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting field teams through guidance, training, and consistent enforcement of safety standards.
The ideal candidate is OSHA-certified, holds CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) credentials, and is confident on job sites, knowledgeable in construction safety regulations, and skilled at collaborating with field crews, project managers, and leadership to prevent incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular job site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent incidents
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local safety regulations
- Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective measures
- Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training programs
- Collaborate with field project managers and supervisors to enforce safety standards
- Maintain safety documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Track safety metrics and report to leadership on program performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related concerns
Qualifications
- OSHA certification required; CHST or CSP preferred
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or Safety Coordinator in construction, preferably electrical
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct job site inspections and lead safety training confidently
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage safety across multiple job sites
Work Environment
- Primarily field-based with frequent site visits
- Some office work required for reporting and compliance documentation
- Must be able to walk job sites, climb ladders, and work in active construction environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,500 – $80,000 (based on experience and certifications)
- Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance (Offered after 90 days of continuous employment)
