Role Description

This is an on-site contract role based in North Charleston, SC. The Student Success Coach will work directly with school staff to provide guidance, mentoring, and support to students, fostering academic growth and personal development. Key responsibilities include developing personalized plans to support student learning, facilitating workshops, maintaining strong communication with educators and families, and tracking student progress. The role demands hands-on engagement to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that helps students thrive.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and guardians.
• Experience in student engagement, educational support, and working in K-12 systems.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning or success plans and familiarity with progress tracking tools.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs, promote inclusivity, and tackle challenges within an educational setting.
• Ability to work on-site in North Charleston, SC, and align with BrightBee’s mission to support school teams and student success.
• Associate Degree or education equivalent.
• Experience with educational technology tools or platforms is a plus.
