What You’ll Do

As a BrightBee Paraprofessional, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. No two days are the same—but every day matters. We are currently partnered with the following school districts. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is.
Flexible Work That Fits Your Life
- Work 2–5 days per week (Monday- Friday).

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support students with learning and classroom activities
- Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement
- Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities
- Work closely with teachers and school staff
Who This Is Perfect For

- You want to build experience in education or behavior support
- You’re looking for flexible and/or consistent work (several of our single day assignments convert to long-term opportunities)
No experience? No problem. We’ll help you get started.
✅ Basic Requirements
- 48 college credits
- RBT experience a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Before You Start
To keep students safe, you’ll need to:
- Pass a background check
- Follow safety and reporting guidelines
- Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
- Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for paraprofessional roles is between $288-$303.
