Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Colorado Springs, CO, for a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor. Responsibilities include conducting client assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, providing individual and group counseling sessions, and delivering neurofeedback and biofeedback therapies. The role also involves collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to assess progress and adapt interventions as needed, while maintaining detailed client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications
- Foundational counseling skills, including client assessment, treatment plan development, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
- Knowledge or experience in neurofeedback, biofeedback therapy, or QEEG brain mapping techniques is highly beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for record-keeping and client engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic rapport and demonstrate empathy.
- Current Provisional Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical counseling practices.
- Experience working in mental health or wellness settings is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to learn specialized health software.
